i started teaching my daughter sign at 7 months. and since i was learning myself from books, i taught her the basics like "more" "eat" "all done" "please" "bath" and "diaper" and honestly, im glad i did. Studies say that babies that are taught sign develop faster language skills but honestly, i appreciated it more for the fact that i knew what my child wanted, whether it was to eat or that she was done. It cut down on frustrations for the both of us.
