My 1 year old has apparently come up with her own sign language to tell me what she wants. She rubs the sides of her hips and stomach up and down when she wants to be picked up, pats her stomach when she wants to eat, and she just started doing something else that I cant figure out what it means:
Whenever someone enters the room, or looks at her, or makes eye contact with her, she happily looks back and rubs the side of her head or her cheek over and over again. Sometimes its more of a slap than a rub but its not done in anger at all. Anyone have any guesses what that might mean?
