Well I've watched a lot of instructional videos and on some of them the letters (alphabet) were not the same way as on other videos (like turned the other way or whatever) I just wanted to know if they are still right both ways?
And I know there are a lot of ways to sign some words (or people just sign them a bit differently) but how can you know if they are still right?

Hi. I'm learning ASL too, and I've found that the best way to learn signs the correct way is to learn them from trusted sources. For example, lifeprint.com, or aslpro.com, and not some random youtube video. Granted, I learnt the alphabet from this video:

I'm learning ASL via lifeprint, and the instructer tells you of the different ways to sign letters/signs.
If you're still in doubt, look up a sign in many different websites, and find the ones that look the most simliar, and use that one.
