I know the alphabet now, and am working on learning as many signs as possible. I am wondering though, after I know all the signs on the program (it has a dictionary on 1000 words) what is the best way to continue learning sign language? What are the best programs or websights? Thanks so much!

ok so my parents are here in USA for almost 9 year and they dont know any English i mean they know the basics but they cant speak or write or read they understand what people are telling them but have trouble answering back
im getting really annoyed with it cause i have ot go with them everywhere as a translator i mean yo have no idea how embarrassing it i s to go with your mother to the gyn/ob doctor
my parents blame it on their age that the face that they are 50-my mom and 51-my father they cant learn it but my mom has a twin sister that came here with her as well and she didnt had any problems learning English it took her 2 years but now she is not constantly asking her kids to go with her everywhere

as i said i am getting annoyed with it cause they think that im gonna be stuck with them for god knows how long

i tried signing them up for classes before but they just dont wanna go i mean they dont know what the teacher is talking about i had to go there with them and translate everything
i think that my father would learn it a bit easier than my mom my dad was doing really good but he is afraid of speaking in front of the classmates as he think they are gonna laugh at him if he makes a mistake
i dont know what to do ,we live in NYC and there are plenty of ESL classes here but they will want the teacher to start teacher them from the basic starting from the alphabet but no one will do it

i dont know what to think of it . it does annoy and frustrate me but what can i do about it ??? im gonna be living with them for the next couple of year till im done with college then im gonna move on my own i talked with them about it and they want me to stay within the NYC cause i might be needed but i have my own life( well right now my social life sucks)

the thing is that if i dont go with them somewhere as a translator they get mad and angry and what i am thinking about how can i not go with them etc…. my dad has a serious health condition he has heart problems he had 2 heart attacks and i tihnk that it would be a really good idea to learn the language so he will know what the doctor is talking about and i have to take at least 2 days off every month from school just to go with him
