I ask because I was wondering if they heard the sound in their head like talking and thinking with those words?
I am deaf , I always thinking in sign language.
Do hearing people think the pictures too?
The reason why I ask because I have read so many yahoo question about deaf people , do they heard the sound while they were thinking? So, I was thinking about hearing people do they really think and hear the sound in their minds?
I would like to hear from you.
TY!

Hey, good question. Well as I'm typing this I hear my own voice in my head, I mean, as I'm thinking the words. Maybe if I'm not thinking so much or typing faster I will not hear the words like being copied. I am thinking more in words when I'm using English. But, Because of ASL, I do think more in pictures now, or try to. Of course many hearing can think in pictures, but of course I would think there would always be sound in there too.
Hope this answers your question.

As an example, an automobile dealer could have leaflets to cover the first part of the purchasing process, but may bring in an interpreter to deal with the complex parts of the price negotiation and contract.
