In many if my books I talk about symbols as I also do in this blog. But we are one step away of becoming paranoiac about the signs interpreting absolutely everything we stumble upon. So readers often ask me what is a sign and what isn’t. And I say that I cannot answer since my signs are not other peoples signs. It is an individual alphabet to talk to God.
So, instead of explaining the signs, I normally try to share my signs. So why don’t you try to share your signs?
I’m not saying it is an universal language that your signs can be imposed to others but you can give us examples of signs when these changed your life.

there are signs in all of creation… the dew on the grass is a sign… a train is a sign… a laugh or cry is a sign… as you illustrated in the book "The Alchemist"… birds flying can be a sign… (i always take flying geese 'honking' as a sign… of the Creators Love… for all Creation… and usually it speaks to something that is happening at the time when i am aware…) a dog barking can be a sign…
signs… signs… everywhere a sign…
however the most reliable source of a sign for me is Holy Scripture…
i find solace and guidance in the Holy Bible and Holy Qur'an…
there are many many signs… of the Mercy of God… and his Love for us all… certainly Christ is a sign (peace and blessings of love be upon him)… and the Holy Qur'an speaks of that fact in this very verse (as well as others)…

here is a sign for all to see… Psalm 127:1
"UNLESS the LORD builds the house,

oh [we] are grateful for the Mercies of our LORD…
