My brother and I were accepted into an explorers program. Its with the PD and you get to esentially be a mini-cop.
He is 14 (15 in 19 days) and I am 19.
I can sign my own papers, which have to be turned in on the 2nd of July.
My brother was telling me that him and my mom were going through the papers and that she came across a sheet that said something along the lines of "your kid will be exposed to coarse language and graphic images." Which she was hesitant to sign and still hasn't signed.
As for the language...what 14 year old hasn't heard coarse language? Plus this is a professional setting..its not like its going to be misused.
And as for the graphic images..its going to be gory stuff.
I don't see why she wouldn't sign them. This is an amazing oppurtunity.
Would you sign the papers? Be HONEST.
