Hey!
Does anyone know a good website where I can find basics for sign language. I already looked it up at yahoo and found some sites, but some of them have different signs for the words I'm looking for, even though they're all for american sign language. So I don't know which one is right.

Just as there are many words in the English language that mean "beautiful," there are many words in ASL that mean the same thing as well. Try these sites:

Remember: in ASL, you can't really look up a word. You have to look up it's context. So, you couldn't look up the word "run" on its own. You'd find a sign meaning "to walk rapidly" "to apply for an elected office" "to tear stockings…" So, keep that in mind too!
