Hey guys
I'm a Junior and our school is on an AB Rotator schedule
That means I have the same 7 classes for the entire year
This is pretty long so bear with me
I've taken 3 science: Bio, Chemistry, and Anatomy and Physiology (in progress)
I hear colleges really like 4 years of science
I'm wondering between whether I should take a science senior year or keep AP Art History as one of my electives
I want to keep AP art History because I hear its easy and would give a nice boost to my GPA. Its also something I know **nothing** about and which would be interesting to learn.
AP Bio, on the other hand, I hear is not so easy and I probably won't get A's through all the quarters
AP Environmental is an easier science which I'm sure that I would force myself to get good grades in.
I'm still deciding whether or not medicine will be one of my majors/minors (leaning towards yes)
I will not major or minor in anything with art or history
Here Are Some of My Stats (All of these will be better by the end of this year)
My weighted GPA is 3.84
Unweighted (for all classes) is 3.07
Class Rank is 125/492 (25.4%)
The Classes I'm taking next year are
1. AP English (Need for eng. credit)
2. AP Psych (optional, but I think I'll like it)
3. AP Gov (need gov credit)
4. AP Calc BC (want it)
5. Basktball/Team Sports (necessary for my sanity)
6. ASL 2 (necessary for language credit)
7. AP Art History (this is the class I would switch for AP Bio or AP Environmental)
**I understand that I'm killing my senior year. But my GPA is sub-par and if I get denied into a college because I took easy class in my last year I WILL REGRET IT for the rest of my life.**
P.s. I also have the option to take Biology or Environmental at a nearby college over the summer. Should i do that instead and keep AP art history?
I've really been stressing out about this so thanks A LOT for looking.
