I do not know if it should be a requirement but a strong recommendation. My son is seven. Last fall he was taught sign language in school and yes, he knows sign language! He is also knowledgeable in Spanish as well as American English. I think being multi-lingual is a very good thing. Communication breaks down barriers and make room for better understanding…
