should they set up a separate forum for adults from about 25 up where questions and unique points of view can be explored without being attacked and censored by hostile kids?

I agree with you, and I'm fourteen.
I'm very tired of seeing my peers posting stupid questions, giving stupid answers, not knowing what they're typing, spamming, reporting everyone whose avatar they don't like, or someone whose answer they didn't like.
And that is true, we are a very angry group of people who can't stand opinions. But like you said, let those who can handle it stay. I'd rather not be trapped with a bunch of illiterates who can't use a keyboard or show any sign of respect towards the English language.

And what is going to stop hostile kids from lying about their age and going on the 25+ boards?
If these people are already breaking so many other rules, they won’t see a problem with breaking another.
