sign language… what does it mean when a toddler who does baby sig?

what does it mean when a toddler who does baby sign language does a pinching sign with her index finger and thumb "starts with a p " i think but since she dont speak correctly i dont know hwat it is
it on the chin though her hand is on her chin while she does the signing
