If you mean NYC, Laguardia CC offers lots of classes, as does the Sign Language Center in midtown.
If you mean elsewhere in the state… check the local colleges or community colleges. Rochester has a huge deaf community, and there will be a bunch of places to take a class there. Check RIT or MCC.
If you don't want to spend money, a library might offer a class once in awhile, but they won't be an advanced level. The best way to learn is to maximize your interactions with Deaf people.
