Basically, my school has a requirement for all History majors that says we need to take four semester of the same language. I am signed up for Italian because it's what I took in high school, but is there another language that would be more beneficial to me?

If you’re interested in history and languages then you should take Latin (or Ancient Greek.) That way you can read history as it was written in the original.
Since you’ve already studied Italian, Latin would be an easy progression.
This could also depend on what part of history interests you the most. Other good interesting historical languages with lots of writing: Old Irish, Old Norse (vikings [close to modern Icelandic]), Old German, Persian.
