I have a friend (girl) and I have established she doesn't hate me. She claims to like someone (not saying it's me but it might help). On AIM when I talk to her, she rarely responds back and when she does her conversations are usually very short. In social places and school she seems to be a lot better but still doesn't talk to me too much. In classes she made up a sign language so we could talk in the 1 class we have together (teacher is super strict). In that same class she draws pictures then shows them to me and later to the rest of the people. The other day at her birthday she kept wanting to get pics with me. Regardless of stuff like this, she doesn't usually just come up and talk to me, though she sometimes does. And if I pass her in the hall she occassionally waves. What is her deal? To sum it up: She talks to me only occassionally but she has weird ways of doing things with me when we do converse even if they are short. Thanks.
Also on her birthday she complimented my hoodie (one I have never worn in her presence before) she said it made me look cool. Not sure if it helps, but whatever. She has also complimented me when I dress up or wear nice clothes.

hmm..maybe she lks you and just doesnt wanna say something stupid or she may be too shy to make the first move..just try talking to her more often and joke around and try to make her feel more comfortable..after that if shes still not talking to u too much she might just want to be friends or "acquaintances"
